Enjoying the 30 day mark today. Looking back I wish I had done this sooner! Now working on increasing the shine :)

Congratulations. You bring back memories for me of my 30 day spot.

Head Slick Glossy works nicely for a shine.

Also Aloe Vera Gel.

I also use 'sugar scrubs' ( blend of essential oils, almond/coconut oils, etc).  They leave your scalp feeling really nice and soft.

and shiny.

Don't look back! The dome looks great and so does the beard.

Thanks guys. I guess clipping my hair at no guard for so long really prepared my family and co-workers for the new look. Most didn't even notice I was shaving daily until near the end of the first week. After that, it's been a month of nothing but complements. This forum has been great as I learn different shaving preps and techniques.  I know the idea of shaving my head was terrifying for me for a long time, but taking the plunge was worth it. And for those who are thinking about it, I'll offer this advice: even if you think you have an odd-shaped head, chances are great that you'll look much better with a smooth dome.  :)
