Title: small pimples on bald head
Post by: Lo on October 01, 2013, 09:53:23 AM
I have small pimple like bumps on my head. Their not razor bumps but they are mostly on the side of my head and itch as well. What/how can I prevent them and where they come from?

Sounds like folliculitis, which is a minor infection of the hair follicles.  Keep the area very clean.  Put warm compresses on them several times a day.  See your doctor if they do not start to clear up in a couple days.

I got some bumps like that as well (not sure what to call it, I just assumed it was acne). It might have been from pillow/hat, etc.

I scoured the area pretty clean and got in a regimine of closing the pores after shaving and then using a light lotion afterwards and they seem to have cleared up, or at least they are gone now.

I did also put a little dab of baccatracin on them (only maybe 3 or 4) and they cleared up and have not returned. Maybe that might work for you?
