Well I was finally able to do it. I did not use the razor but I used the Wahl balding clippers with the 1/16" guard. And for me it is close enough to being bald. Everyone at work loves the new look and some actually wanted to rub the dome lol. I am now able to walk out the house without a hat and feel confident about myself. I Now don't have to think about my receding hairline (you can still see it but not as noticable and actually doesnt look bad with a buzz cut in my opinion) and thinning hair at the top. I went to the club recently and was able to grab a few numbers with the look ;). But in all seriousness, I would suggest any one with the same issue as me to just grab the clippers and chop it off, you won't regret it. I am a young 21 year old who is bald and loving it!

Congrats Kev, I'm glad you like it. I got almost all positive comments, and I had a full head of hair, when I shaved it. If you are still curious, you could shave your head on a Friday after work and it will be back to 1/16th" by Monday. That's if you have weekends off of course.

Kev, good job. I loved my head buzzed with no guard. Probably less than 1/16. Now enjoy it even more smooth shaved each morning. When you are ready give it a try.
But 1/16 and bald look essentially the same.

Hi there Kevikev
Well done!
Now I dare you to go another step further and shave it off like a babies butt. There is no better feeling. Not a baby's but, of course, but the feeling of your freshly shaved head after some stinging aftershave has stretched the skin into dry silk.
Its just a friendly dare, no pressure! :)

Well done Kevikev!
I have to agree with Waine. You've come so far, you might as well take that last step.
And get a photo up so we can see who we're talking to O0

welcome, in time you will shave it all off.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on clipping it all off! :)
I do agree that while a tight buzz cut is a great feeling, the smooth feeling totally rocks. In time I am sure you'll opt to give it a try. As reddog said, try it when you have a couple of days off and it will be back to your look now when you go back to your normal day-to-day activities.
Hope to see you around and maybe you'll help out others feeling on the fence about it to take a stand against rampant hair loss !! ;D
