Since I started Sly Bald Guys in 2006 I have had the same Conair GMT10CS Beard and Mustache Trimmer. I like it because it's cordless and rechargeable and it came with 5 different combs to trim my beard at different lengths. What I didn't like about it was that it didn't travel very well because you had to take the base with you to charge it.
Here's a link to the trimmer - http://amzn.to/153byGC
Since I've owned the trimmer for so long the battery is about dead and it's time to start looking for a new beard and mustache trimmer. What trimmer are you using today? Would you recommend it? If so, why?

For my mustache and goat, I use an old Wahl that I've had forever. I have to charge it and then leave it plugged in to get it to cut. Time for me to get a new one as well. I've got it in an old HB Travel kit that they don't sell any more.
When I go full Santa Claus, I just use my ConAir hair trimmers. That works really well with the exception of the mustache. Blade's too wide.

I like the simple Wahl that uses disposable batteries. Never had good success with those that are rechargeable. The batteries stop holding a charge long before the trimmer wears out.

I have only had a moustache for just over a year. I simply use a small pair of barbers scissors.

Anyone else use a good beard and mustache trimmer?

I was surprised to like the Wahl 9854L. It has a lithium ion battery that holds up well and holds its charge very well. It also cuts well and has a lot of attachments. I've probably had it about 2 years. I would buy it again. I think they go for about $30ish.

i use the highest rated wahl on amazon

The best beard trimmer I have found is to not use one at all... haha. Sorry I can't be of any help Tyler, what did you end up settling on?
-
yo tyler I bought the one in my above post it seems to do the job only used once I'll test it more.

Take it from someone who has tried alot and the best beard trimmer right now is the Norelco QT4070. Had it for 2 years and its still working great.

I'm in the don't trim it! group. once you get past the first few weeks and see how good a full face of fur is you will be hooked!

I'm most definitely in the don't trim it group too.

I have been using my Wahl balding clippers with the shortest comb attachment. That has been working well
For me. I used to use a Wahl
Rechargeable beard trimmer but it is wearing out.
