....Peter Garrett, who went sly in the mid-80's?
I guess this must be "classical" music. He was the lead singer for an Australian band called Midnight Oil. There most famous songs include "Beds are Burning", "Blue Sky Mine" and "Forgotten Years". I recall him rubbing his shaved dome in the video for "Beds are Burning."
One of my favorite bands.... gee I wonder why??!?!

I remember him well and love their music. He is very involved in politics in Australia if I remember correctly. Maybe one of our Aussie friends can fill us in.

Yes he has been very politically active (which I recall now, thanks Mike). I guess he just resigned after an upset of political power in Australia, but I am sure the Australian friends on here will know more than we do. He's still sly though, which is always a plus!!
