I was in the shower room at the Y today and the guy next to me says "can I borrow your shampoo? All I have is conditioner." I replied, "I only have body wash." He borrowed it anyway, then said, "I guess it was pretty stupid of me to ask a guy with a shaved head for shampoo. You must think I'm an idiot." I told him not to worry, it was good for a laugh.

That's a funny story. I'd've had a hard time keeping a straight face during the exchange.

At least he didn't ask to borrow your comb!

Sometimes... people just don't think before they engage.

What's sad is when I take my son to get his haircut and the person at the check-in counter asks, with no irony, "Nothing for you today?" Sometimes I just laugh and other times I'll say, "If you've got a licensed Barber who can give my dome a shave with a straight razor, I'm game."

I love it when people ask me what I put on my head to make it so shiny. I usually respond "NBO". Wen they ask what that is I respond "natural body oil". That usually shuts them up. I also will respond "turtle wax" sometimes.

I'll get this in hotels a lot. Housekeeping will ask me in the hall in the morning if I need extra shampoo. You can see the look in their eyes when they realize what they have said. It freaks them out almost as much as me taking a couple of bottles. :o

You guys have me laughing.
NBO!

This is such a howl!!
I love when you can 'throw' someone, like staying at their house and asking if you can "borrow their shampoo." :*))
Thanks for the laughs!

There was a random comb sitting on the counter the other day. Without even thinking, my mom asked "Michael, is this your comb on the counter?". The odd silence while I was trying to grasp that she really asked me that question was enough for her to realize what she had asked.
