Hello Everyone,
I've been posting on here since April and haven't even introduced myself. Please excuse me, only just seen the section :/O
I'm early 40s from the UK, have always had a number 1-4 with clean sides, being of mixed heritage.. I always vowed that when the time came, I'd bald it off.... But never did initially! I've been reseeding for 3 years, losing from the crown for 2 years, and from the front head top for 1 year. It was the later I couldn't bare and looked noticeable. :-\
I used to trim 7-10 days at a cost of £10 each time.
I was nervous about trimming all my hair low, but bought some Philips QC5550 and looked at them for 2 weeks and continued using the barba. Then ask the barba to take it down to a number 1 all over. I think he knew what I had planned.
I took advice here and went for it.. Wow, was that hard :)
I then trimmed down to a 2, then a1 once a week. Then 2 months ago bought some walh balding clippers and with the advice on blade setup from Derris the Barba, started trimming without a guard twice a week.
The end of July saw me on Vacation in 40 degree heat, started trimming with my Wahl Balding clippers but as my head was sweating so much, they couldn't cope, so ended up balding my hair all off with my Philips balding attachment! and have never looked back since.
I have now bought a Panasonic ES-RF31-S and bald my head every 2-3 days and love the look and feel. I have been advised by some on here to razor shave, but I don't really fancy the idea, funny but that's how I feel :(
Been Sly since the 1st of August.
Thanks to everyone on the forums for all your help, support and advice. :@`
Regards
Enny

Welcome , you have to try a razor sooner or later. Give it a try , it grows back to a #1 in a few days.

Hello, Enny!

Welcome Enny!
Thanks for the intro and your background. Sounds like a lot of folks here (myself included!) at SBG!
I loved using the #00000 on my head a couple of years back, especially when it's warm out. But I think if you give the razor a try, you'll probably be hooked! It's amazing that smooth dome... :)
Glad to have you with us and please keep posting and enjoying the supportive guys and gals.
