Title: DSC okay for head shave?
Post by: Christian S on August 15, 2013, 01:49:08 PM
Okay, sorry if this has been brought up before, but I'm gonna ask anyway. Dollar Shave Club, are their twin blade razors enough to handle head shaving? My Headblade uses Atra twin blade refills, but I haven't been able to find any demos or reviews of the DSC twin blades being used for head shaving. I've tried using my DE razors on my head, but it takes so freaking long to complete the shave that I'm finding myself going back to cart razors, the cost of refills or disposables sucks though. The club seems perfect as fat as cost goes, just wondering if the razor is up to the challenge.

Haven't tried them myself but others have said in the past that they suck. Not only are they not up to shaving the noggin but they're also not acceptable for the face.

I switch between Shick xtreme 3 disposables and a HeadBlade. The disposables are cheap and last a fair time.

Try them every head is diffrent.I find I can get by with some of the cheaper disposables. They don't work for everyone, but worth a try.If you don't like them, give them to somebody you don't like.  ;)

Thanks guys.
I really love the Shick Xtreme 3 for head shaving. And from some of the deals I find at places like Walmart, it might be about the same as DSC for the number of razors I use per month. Depends on how long I can get them to last.
