After close to 20 years of waering a hairpiece I finally went for my last appointement 10 days ago, go this thing removed, got a close trimmer job and that was that. One of the best decisions I ever made without a doubt. I had been thinking about it for a year or a bit more and then I came upon this web site and got lots of courage from reading what people who had done it were saying. My life is so much simpler now. I'm lovin it. I was a bit worried about my kids at first but to them it was like nothing ever happened. A total non-event. My wife likes it too. I was also worried about going to work the first day but I had a long weekend to prep myself and get a bit of a tan, close to a sunburn in fact. It was not a big deal and I felt a lot of respect. Some people know something's changed but not quite sure what! For the others it's old history already after a full week. I'm 47 now. I know what I am and feel a lot more confident now. It was overdue. Anyone with doubts about taking the plunge: Just do it!!

Well done. All the sentiments you have expressed -getting rid of hairpiece, confidence, non-event for most others, support of family and friends etc are those many of us felt - along with 'why didn't I do this sooner'.
