Title: Hello Just signed up!

Hello my name is Tim and I am from Indiana.  I have just recently started shaving my head bald.  I am 37 years old married for 15 years and have 3 children.  They all seem to like it but I still get the occassional question from people as to WHY?  I respond with "Because I Can!"  After reading all the post I have found out shaving your head bald goes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond just shaving it.  SO as a newbie..I would love any recommendations or tips on keeping my "DOME" as most of you call it..it tip top shape.

Nice observation about the power of shaving your head...but you probably felt that BEFORE you came here ;)!

Tips, you will definately get them here...good group and nices dudes (and  ladies)...

In regards to getting tips on different aspects of keeping your dome looking good, I'd search the forum for the following topics.

Shaving Cream
Sunscreen
Razor
Exfoliator
Moisturizer
Routine

Im Glad to be in the Gang.  Thanks for having me.  My choice of razor and routine, please dont grit ya teeth on this.....body soap, mach 3 and just lotion.  I had first, for about 3 months been trimming it down with #2, #1 and no guard.  Then about 2 weeks ago I went for the plunge and took the razor to it....actually kinda liked the feeling...ya know..that feeling you get in your stomache the first time yo do something different.  Made me feel TALLER lol...A Bigger Man!  Macho...lol...SLY
You all seem to be a great bunch of guys....so yeah ifyou seen my post of my myspace..yeah go ahead ...send a friend request....if you feel inclined.

hey timm.... great new avatar.  u have a good routine.  a mach3 is a quality razor.  i use the regular fusion.  after u shave your dome, try rinsing w/ cold water and rub your dome w/ an ice cube.  the ice cube method was invented by one of r sly brahs (lance).  anyway... the cold water rinse & ice cube method keeps me smooth longer.  u can c lance's post titled "ice cubes after shaving".  glad u found us and enjoy the forum....my new sly brah!!!

my BAD.... just a rookie mistake.... i've been sly 4 only 2 months... lance... thanks 4 mentioning straight razor's "invention" on the use of ice cubes.  straight razor aka the original "iceman".  lance aka "iceman2" or "ice,ice,baby".LOL ;D ;D ;D
