Title: Does shaving your head hurt your chances for dates?

I'm 21 and my hair on the crown area has been thinning since I was 17. I've been reading some of the posts on the forum about shaving your head. I'm considering doing that or buzzing it but is the look unattractive for younger guys? I try to always look my best by dressing well, working out, etc. However, I think shaving my head might hurt my chances in getting dates from guys (I'm gay). I know I'll be less attractive than before, but is it actually a turn off? Did this ever happen to any of you or am I worrying too much?

If you think it will, then yes you will have a harder time getting dates.  If you don't think it will, then no you won't have a harder time getting dates.  Make sense?

I guess it all depends on confidence then... I guess if I decide to do it, things won't be so bad

You don't know that for sure. Nobody does.

Since you are considering a shaved head/buzz cut, then go for it. And think of it as a re-invention of your appearance. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Actually it will filter out the shallow people who care more for appearances than what's inside (and you deserve better than them anyway)

This says it all.......In order to score a good mate/date, you have to be a good mate/date.
