Hello everyone,

I just stumbled onto this site thanks to Google. I'm 27 and facing a very, very slowly receding hairline.

I was wondering if you guys think I will be able to make the seamless transition from #3 buzz cut to bald when the time comes--or if I need to make the transition already. What do you guys think?

Welcome! I think the buzz looks good; I don't see very much recession...But when you do go sly, I think you have the head for it...Good luck and keep us posted!

Hi Kenny:  Welcome to the sly fraternity.  Glad that ya joined us.  I don't see any receding hairline.  The buzz cut looks cool on you so if you ever decide to be a SBG, I think you can rock the look.

Thanks, gentleman! I'll be sure to post pics if I decide to go any shorter. Right now it's really hot, so a #1 or #2 sounds appealing!

you still have full set of hair but I would suggest buzzing in closer and closer to get a feel how you would like it shaved.

Sounds like you are on the path to being a SBG!  

Your buzz looks good as the others have stated.  Take it down to #1 for the summer, perhaps even go no-guard for a week or two at the peak of the heat.  That will give you a good idea of how you will look bald.  You might just want to continue and shave it after that.  The smooth feel of a shaved head is extremely nice.  A bald head on a guy is very much in style these days.  There is no problem being bald by choice BBC.
