I have been reading this bulletin board off and on for a few months. I decided to join after reading the descriptions of shaving as being so satisfying. I never really felt that before.
I had shaved my face with an electric since my early 20s (40+ years ago), so I had lost touch with the water, lather, and blade. I gave in to male pattern baldness about 4 years ago and shaved off my remaining hair.
I had used an electric on my head, but it was taking so much time. After reading all the chatter about how great a lathered shave for the face was, I gave one a try. Hot shower, lather up with the canned shave cream, new disposable razor. Wow, what an experience!
I have been accumulating the gear for shaving my head, looking forward to the same great experience.

Welcome. Yes a real head shave is very satisfying. I do it nearly daily as I need to, not being naturally bald. It only takes a few moments.
By the way, what cycle do you drive?

I had used an electric on my head, but it was taking so much time.
My wife has been offering to buy an electric for me. Thanks for the info. I'll stick with my Gillette Fusion.

I ride a BMW R1200RT. That photograph was taken near Fairbanks, Alaska enroute to Prudhoe Bay.

Is this a current ride in Alaska? I used to live in Alaska for 23 years.
Enjoy the state. I'm sure the ride is beautiful, as is a bald head.
