Title: Hey Headbladers (ATX?)
Post by: Vash on May 26, 2013, 02:15:11 PM
Hey, fellow Headblading bald brothers, I've been reading a lot about the ATX here on the forums lately and I'm wondering if it's a razor I should try out.

I've been using one HB or another for years now. I picked what is now called the HB "Classic", back when it was just the only razor Headblade made. I have a Classic, a Sport and I've been using my S4 Shadow since I won it in a contest here on SBG (Thanks again)!

My scalp has about a dozen cowlicks and part lines on my head and the hair grows in every conceivable direction including an actual vortex/spiral shape at the right-top-rear of my head.

I constantly have to change directions and change angle of my shave stroke in order to get a close shave.

I'm wondering if the ATX would work better or worse for me.

Anyone with experience with this razor who can share an opinion?

Definitely try it out.For those of us who have hair that likes to grow in different directions it's important to shave in the proper direction(s).

As a newbie, I have tried both and the ATX has an easier learning curve especially going against the grain. I got a much smoother cut with it and the Sport will probably collect dust before it gets used again. Publix had them at $11.99, so it is easy on the wallet for a test drive
