Title: I've Lost Even More Hair

Hey Guys,

so apparently in the few months that I have been sly, I have lost even more hair.

My grandfather passed away last thursday (we were very close so it struck me pretty hard) and in our tradition, when someone passes away you cant care about your own personal appearance and this includes shaving of course. This period lasts for seven days and starts from the time of the burial (which was two days ago) but since I've been so down about it i havent shaved my head since last thursday morning. and cant shave again until next tuesday.

Anyways, this post isnt about any pity points but rather to say that while i havent looked at myself in the mirror the last week or so, I can tell that my bald spot and receding hair line has gotten worse since i started shaving. Just feeling around the areas i can tell that there is less hair.

I cant wait to shave again. I hate having the hair and the bald spot.

Anyways, ill be back in full force posting again starting next wednesday. (technically im not supposed to be using the computer during the seven day period but i have no choice because i gotta for work).

hope the next few days go quick for ya....i cant go more than 3 days before i start freaking out.

Sorry to hear that Leo...my condolences go out to you and the family. Also nice to see so much respect, too little of that going on today!

Hmmm, too much bad hair...I say that is a good excuse to get the cool barbershop shave experience...nothing cooler than walking into a shop and telling the dude to shave your head totally clean and bald..very cool, if i remember correctly...especially if there are other dudes in the shop...

sometimes you can get the closest shave ever (I've had it 2-3 times) and others subpar on feel, but good experience..

I say you give it a go....you may never have the chance again...because bro..SLY and you are meant to be one! O0

Sincerest condolences on the loss of your grandfather Leo.   Hang in there...just remember the choice not to shave is being done for an honorable reason.

So sorry to hear about your grandfather man.  I can feel you on being real close to him.  My grandfather basically had to step up as my dad.  Like Paul said you are doing it for a an honorable reason.  And it's not like you're going to be banned.  We all let it go one time or other.  Wait, we don't get banned right?   ;D ;D ;D

Hi Leo,

Sorry to hear about your grandpa's death. It's always sad when we lose someone close.
 
Seven days is a long time to go without a shave - but like the others have said - you are doing it for the very best of reasons - Respect to you mate!  O0

I can tell you guys that im so proud to be a part of this community!

Im going to take BaldAndre's advice and go to a barbershop at the end of next week so that they can shave it off for me....it'll be great re-living the shaving your hair all off again....
