So I am 23 years old, just graduated in May from Salisbury University and am currently employed as a Mortgage Loan Originator in Fairfax, VA.
I have been between Norwood III and Norwood IIII for about 4 months. Just shaved it in Nov but then got nervous and let it grow back while using Revita and Spectral RS blowing money like its no ones business. (Which btw, made my hair look fuller, but I did not see any reveral results after 3 months.)
I don't look bad bald but I am no brad Pitt with my looks in general.
I had friends joking with me about my hair, and also had people telling me "Oh, you look fine".
Wasn't doing it for me, in the end, I kept looking in the mirror at my head and was so wrapped up in it.
Finally decided to shave it and keep it. I...am....so..happy.
I like the attention I am getting with the change too, even the hair loss victims in my office who are sporting a hat usually are letting their heads show free and clear today.
This site was the final deciding factor to letting go of my insecurities. So relieved! O0
Now all I have to do is learn how to shave it better. 30 days here I come!
Thanks again guys.

Just one question, and I realize this is for a different thread, but since this is mine I'll just throw it out there.
Short strokes or long strokes on shavin??
-
I do long strokes from front to neck and then against the grain

A combination of both for me, long strokes for the majority of the shave, and then some blade buffing (short repetitive strokes) to clean up and areas that need it.
Hope you are happy with the new found freedom!

Welcome and +1 to what Lynchy wrote above.
You look great, relieved and confident.
Makes the whole world look just a bit better don't you think?

Definitely! Especially holding my head out of the window when I'm driving, I feel so aerodynamic.
I went and got the head blade today from Walgreens, and I gotta say, not impressed. It's not rocket science to use, but it didn't work for me the first time around.
Round two tomorrow so we'll see. Day number 1 DOWN!

Welcome to the forum. Way to go with shaving it all off, it's the best way to handle mpb.
Good to hear you plan on keeping it that way. Stick with the HeadBlade, it will only get better with time as you become more comfortable with the feel of how it works. Remember, no pressure on blade end, and take long, smooth strokes.
Good luck with it, and enjoy the freedom of being smooth! O0
