I think the person who authored the story should have mentioned that this isn't the first time Charlize has shorn her hair! Oversight!
Anyways, she played a main character in The Astronaut's Wife (1999), a strange movie about her having an alien baby.... Interestingly, the plot carries similarities to Rosemary's Baby (1968) in which Mia Farrow is pregnant with a spawn of Satan and who also was given a short pixie cut in the movie. Both movies have a style ala Roman Polanski.

And both ladies can pull of this (OR ANY OTHER) hairdo with pizzazz!
For a long time, though I could never be compared to either of the above, I styled my hair like Mia's and Charlize's in the these two movies because I just LOVE that style. Now I'm sly.
