Another addict of the series here.  Going to be great.  HBO has produced some really great series recently and GOT is certainly another one.

HBO knows hows to make good programming. So excited for the new season... based on the third book which was by far the best...

I never read the books--just channel surfed one rainy afternoon before Season  2 and caught the marathon reruns of Season 1--hooked--and nothing got done that day, obviously.

Saintc I really suggest you read the books... atleast the first three (amazing writing). After the third book though the author loses his touch a little bit... Perhaps you already know but there was a particular scene in the third book which actually inspired the creators to make the tv version of the show in the first place... Its a big spoiler alert for people who only watch the show... so I wont be saying anything on that subject but it will blow your mind away...

I'm a huge fan of the series, I'm a massive fan of anything Medieval fantasy. I've recently just started reading the first book, which one of my mates bought me for my Birthday a few months back, but I was still reading another book at the time. Season 3 is going to be amazing  :D

I live in Japan mate.  I've "acquired" season 2 and plan on watching soon.  Japanese tv is always years behind on most shows, but I'll probably buy the DVDs at some point anyway!

Very much a fan of A Song of Ice and Fire as well as a fan of Game of Thrones.

I think the show is (generally) a very good adaption of the book series, though I often find that the art direction of the series, as opposed to what I imagine of the world in my mind, is often uninspiring.

I'm also stuck about a third of the way through A Feast for Crows. So far it is an awful book in comparison to the first three, especially A Storm of Swords, which has to be one of the best 1000+ pages fantasy thrill rides I've ever read.

Another big fan of the show here sahil. I am looking forward to the coming season.
I recently read a great article in Rolling Stone magazine on Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister. Really cool guy, sounds very down to earth. They also had a shorter feature on the author as well. Check it out if you can.  O0

You don't have to eat your shoe. I just finished the first episode and I can't wait to start the second one.

Great show!! Though, I've given up the premium channels, so I'm going to have to wait until it's on Amazon Prime.
