Title: Profile photos disappearing while using Google Chrome
Post by: marshd1000 on February 06, 2013, 07:01:34 PM
Normally, I use Google Chrome for my browser.  Usually it is not a problem accessing SBG using Google Chrome.  But lately, when I get into the forum, I can read the content just fine.  But the photos that are part of people's profiles will initially be seen only to disappear rather quickly!  So am I the only one experiencing this issue?  Is it something I am doing or is it a site issue?

I just logged on through Internet Explorer and I'm not having the problem.  (I haven't used anything but Google Chrome for so long).

Happening again in Chrome for me.  I would weep if I needed to use IE to properly browse this site  :XX

My content filter blocks some photo sharing sites, so guys who's photos are out there via a link, i can't always see..
I  browse with chrome for android or firefox for linux. Seems to work ok.

Also appears to happen in Safari. May be a WebKit incompatibility.

Glad to see it is happening for others, I thought it might have been some sort of an issue with my computer. It's been happening for a few days now for me as well on chrome

Hey guys, it's something I changed and as a result caused the image issue.  The problem is I changed a few things so I'm testing them one by one until it's corrected.   Give it a day or two to get fixed.

I wonder if that's why my own sly pics didn't post previously, but that was a while ago that I tried; probably 2 months or so.  I use Chrome.  Perhaps I should try again!

Yes, this has been happening to me, too. And I thought it was just me.

It's a shame as I like Google chrome because I can sync the bookmarks across my 2 PCs and iPhone. I prefer Google chrome on the iPhone rather than Safari.

I recently switched to Chrome because I was having trouble with IE. I haven't had any trouble at all with Chrome.
