Title: 10 Days/33%!
Post by: bella on January 29, 2013, 02:16:14 PM: 10th day shaving today. I'm getting really good at and the idea of growing it back seems ridiculous!

The weather is a bit warmer (25 instead of 20 F ;D) and it's been two days more or less of me without a hat. Getting really comfortable in my skin.

Sadly it's back to being ice cold back here in NY, but I spent the day with my girlfriends and nary a negative opinion about my new look, and I spent the day laughing. So I'm in a fantastic mood right now.

Tomorrow will be 50% thru 30 days but I've missed a few days here and there. But it's not like I'm on the fence so who's counting?

Post by: lsflipper on February 02, 2013, 09:23:31 PM: I haven't had any negative remarks either. I think that since there are more and more of us that people just don't really notice anymore. I think the only ones we bother are the ones that want to be bald but don't have the guts to go there.

Had some bumps in the road on the insecurity/confidence front but got through them without too much fuss, and I'm finding I genuinely like how I look now. When I was fussing with my hair it was all "meh." Now my face is more prominent and I actually find I like how my face looks!

Important debut happening tomorrow with an older friend who may not be supportive. I'm nervous, but not as nervous as I would have been a week ago and I'm prepared to ignore any negative/nonconstructive opinions.

I went to try on some wigs just for fun w/ a friend and I found that by now I was put off by my appearance with long hair again ;D That didn't take long!

Post by: bella on February 22, 2013, 07:33:52 PM: 31 days today! I'm so much more comfortable with myself and my appearance, and my confidence is through the roof. I've got a good, <10 min routine figured out and am pretty happy with my current product set. I'd like to look into shaving soaps and brushes instead of just straight shave cream but I'm too cheap to do that while I still have an almost full can of shave cream to use up and it seems to be doing just fine.

My head feels happy too ;D
