thanks, I will try to get one of those sticks
-
I think I am quite lucky as I haven't cut myself!
-
Ouch! I think the septic stick is good, but small square bandages also work for the short term. A little off topic, but I heard you mention in your other thread that you used a Gillette Fusion. What kind of cream do you use? Why I ask is, once you get used to shaving, try applying your cream/soap/gel with a shaving brush. It decreases your chances of getting cut.

I think Harry is referring to a "styptic pencil". You can buy them at any store like CVS, Rite Aid, or Wally World for a dolllar or so.
I prefer a "nick stick". I have one from Pacific Shaving that was about $5. It is basically a tube with a roller ball. You just roll it over the nick, it stings... but it works great.

Mop up and carry on with life.
Be a little more careful next time.

"Mop up and Carry on"...Sounds like words to live by Z.

cold wash cloth and after shave gel or if very small a piece of TP
-
A small piece of tp usually does the trick.

I usually stick my hunting knife in the fire until it is white hot and then cauterize the wound with it. (snicker, snicker)

Sorry Bro SH... Actually Lol'd @ "septic stick" 8)

I had a laugh at that as well.
For me a cold water rinse (or ice rub) and a dab with the styptic pencil usually is how I handle a cut.

For everything other than a tiny bleeder just take a bullet and bite the top off. Don't forget to spit it out. Then empty the powder from the cartridge into the bloody wound and then set it alight -- I use a Bic lighter. This definitely stops the bleeding but does burn a hole through to your skull.
