Hi, Ian . Welcome.  I've been sporting a full beard since 1980. It surprised me way back then how much I liked it. I started with the bale head a year ago. I'm surprised how much I like it. So unless I become unable to grow my beard or shave my head, this is my look.

Ironically, what I like about lighter beards are the more apparent color variations. No one can tell I have a few reddish-brown hairs (and if anyone does, they are too close to my face.)
