Title: The first cut was the hardest
Post by: Cave Dweller on January 14, 2013, 07:41:42 PM: I was thinking about shaving off the horseshoe for about two months. At 3:00 p.m. on January 1, while my wife was napping, I went into the bathroom, got out the clippers, and stared at my head. Then, with a deep breath, I started clipping it off. I got two bad cuts during the first shave, but compared to what I did to by face at fifteen during THAT first shave, these were nothing.

My wife likes it. My co-workers like it. And most importantly, *I* really like it.

Now, if only the shaved area would hurry up and tan...

I only told a few friends and the guys here on sbg that I was going to shave my head. It was a surprise to everyone else. Positive comments from all. And now, its just me. Everyone likes the look.

HOW TRUE! Here I go again. Time to shave my head. Can't wait. It will be a year of shaves on Saturday. The smooth head is very satisfying.

That's funny. Shaving is such a dangerous thing to do. I guess you could die from blood loss but that would be extreme and involve a straight razor.

Funny....the very people (dads) who are responsible for our hairloss are the ones who get the most upset when we do something (proactive) about it.......My dad and my dad's dad were adamant about keeping their remaining hair even with the donut hole/horseshoe...
