I passed the 30 day rule a week ago. I feel great! But still feel uncomfortable with everyone. I am afraid they might think I am silly. I know it takes time however I still need the support from you guys who with the experience. May be you can suggest me different way to think then get rid of it totally. I shave my head every second day. Sometime everyday. Still trying. Thanks.

Firstly, congratulations! well done!
Im over 12months and I still feel the same as you. I think it's more us than others. Everyone is used to it now, probably forgotton how you looked prior to the big chop.
Youll get there in time, no rush, no time scale.

Wang, if some people think it's silly, then let them think that. Your not going to be to everyone's taste.
Some people look even sillier with hair, so I wouldn't let it worry you.

Congratulations on making your first 30 days, may you have many more. I also prefer to shave every second day. And how sneaky of you for starting your first 30 days and not saying hi first :P I'm glad you finally came out of the shadows and into the sunshine though O0

Welcome Wang, you look just fine. And you will adjust to the new image with time. It's a big change ... but one day you'll look in the mirror and realize that person is totally you and familiar. Don't worry about the change or how long it takes to adapt.
So what should you worry about regarding being bald/sly?
Absolutely nothing. No worries about when to get a haircut. No worries about whether it is styled / sprayed / gelled correctly to hide any perceived imperfections. No worries about covering it up with a hat. No worries about what happens if it gets wet.
So ... breathe deeply ... relax ... and enjoy the freedom you have brought to yourself.

My dear brother Wang, when I wake up in the morning I lie in bed for a while and typically after some time the thought 'get out of bed' arises in my mind and I either act upon it or not. I don't choose to generate the thought 'get out of bed' -- it just happens by itself, experientially speaking.
Now, if I can't ultimately control which thoughts arise in my own mind then how the blazes am I going to control which thoughts arise in other peoples' minds? Clearly, I cannot. In the same way that you let your mind think what it thinks let their minds think what they think -- just like all of us they can't help what they think because most of it is due to past conditioning. Some of them might have been scared by bald men when they were babies or something.
A very few of them might think you are silly but many more will probably think 'wish I had the guts to do that -- oh, but I can't because it's too hard, takes more courage than I have, I might look silly' and so on and on.
Also remember that if you still had hair then plenty of people would be thinking 'that bloke's hair is too long/short/dirty/thin' or whatever. At least on the surface, our minds rattle on endlessly and probably 90%++ of the content is just garbage anyway. Don't take too much notice of your thoughts and especially of your thoughts about other people's thoughts.
Now that your pic is up we can all see that you do not look 'silly' at all. Rather, the sly look suits you down to the ground -- meaning that it looks natural on you, like you have been that way for years. As your feelings of discomfort have lessened over the last 30 days rest assured that they will continue to lessen until they are but a distant memory.
One more thing -- 'still trying'. Please don't try because trying is very trying. Just relax and let it all flow -- live your life and just be what you are. And, how could you do otherwise?
You are now free of the 'tyranny of hair'. Rejoice.

Guys, I feel very warm from your support. I did think but didnt plan when I would shave it off. So I didnt post it here when I did. Of course I read the Forum before shaving it and learn a lot for the psychology, mentality and the knowledge of to be the sly. Still learning.
I really like what Frontier guy said "enjoy the freedom you have brought to yourself " Amazing words. Enjoy what you love.
I am from Taiwan. Live in Shanghai. I found a few people with shaved heads in Xiamen, China. South part is warmer for the shaved head. I am now in Shanghai winter 3 degree with a shaved head. It is cold!! :)

Your looks are slick wang! Looks very good on you so stop worrying needlesly. Perhaps we wont get all the girls we want if some want more hair on top, but we wont like all of them either. It's not easy to be bald as I've witnessed for myself, due to mere pressure of it, but yeah wear it with confidence and there is no problem about it. It's all about confidence. Which isn't an easy thing to have considering our situation and pattern of thinking ??? But it can always be faked :) And when you fake it good for a while, it becomes you :)
All we want from a girl is good body and attitude right? It's not different wise versa.
