:D :D :D Ahoy, mates. The dome is back! The stitches came out yesterday, the wound is healing nicely, and the deep scrape is diminishing. There will be little/no scar. So this afternoon I fired up the Fusion and reclaimed my bald identity; Karen did the finishing touches around the healing areas, so the noggin is 90% slick and open to the air--but not to the sun. Going a whole week without shaving demonstrated two things: 1) I have more hair than I remembered, and 2) I do not want any of it. I noticed with fascinated disgust how the velcro clogged my razor and how often I had to flush it out. Two more days, and I would have had to use clippers before attempting to shave. Guys, take care of your exposed head. Caution is a very small price to pay for rocking the sly look. The ribs still ache and I'll have to go on taking a couple of prescribed oxycodons/percocets for the next four days. All in all, I got off easy for a man over sixty. Next time I'll think twice about "pushing" the work ethic beyond late afternoon. Your support and advice provided the best medicine I could have had in this case. Heart-felt thanks, Professor Melon

I must have missed something. What happened? You mentioned an injury but I was thinking a minor bump/cut on the head. I didn't realize it was something that required stitches. Glad to hear that you are on the mend.

Good to hear it Prof!

Good for you Professor Melon. I bet you were glad to be SLY again!
-
Professor Melon, I can kinda sympathize with you. I had an incident in the pool last night while playing with my sons. Not quite as bad as yours. I tried shaving around it this morning. It's extremely tender and sensitive up there.
Glad to hear you're back fully SLY again. O0

Well I've went from no guard as you know I didn't shave for 2 months :/O.. lastweek I took the clipper with no guard and shaved.. but notice I still had lots of bumps and ingrown hair.. so I followed my receipe I mentioned in other threads... lastnight.. Took a new blade with my formula and shaved O0 .. had some red spots but surely after a few days of care to it.. they will be gone.. now I'm sly and staying that way... O:O..
Glad to see your recovery went well..
Hope you'll be ok slyinkc... take care of the dome.. ho..

Professor
I too recall you mentioning an injury....but wasn't aware of the severity.
....glad to hear you're on the mend and appreciating--even more--the sly dome.
-
Glad to hear you're healing well Prof
-
Great to hear you're on the mend and back to the world of the sly, professor.

Glad to hear all is well....sounds like you got off luck! I scraped my head at the gym about 9 months ago and that spot STILL is a slightly different color than the rest of the noggin'!
Bet it felt great to be nice, slick and SLY again! I'll make a big effort to take care of my shiny dome! 8)
