I was feeling kind of confused lately, looking at hair transplant websites, propecia, etc... I have buzzed my hair off before but this time I feel different!
After reading some posts here I decided to create an account and just forget about the other "solutions"... none of them are permanent anyways and they require more maintainance than anything else :)
Edit: thanks for all the comments, I will post picture soon (need to get involved with the forum a little bit right? :P), I'm really happy with the new look O0

Welcome mate! Good choice on ditching the systems :)

Welcome aboard!

Well done on finally ditching the artificial systems that don't work & taking the plunge to buzz your hair off.
Welcome to the club, mate.
Get comfortable with the buzzed look & feel until you are ready for the next step: A real head shave with lather & razor - it is a whole different look & feel & you will absolutely love it.

G'Day Giuliani mate,
Welcome to Sly Bald Guys! You have taken the first step and well done to you.
I was in your position many years ago and shaved my receding hairline short and then about 17 years ago went Sly and it was the best decision.
Great informative site here Giuliani, plenty of great people willing to share their advice.

Welcome to the club.
-
thanks y'all! :D
I've been trimming it a little shorter lately so as not to do it so often...
-
Looks great!

Hate to say it, but you look like any other good-looking guy with a close cut.
In other words, don't worry about it. It all looks incredibly normal.
Well done.

The other day someone tried to guess my age and said 34 (I'm 28), maybe they envy by buzz cut lol >:D
-
The buzz looks good. I used to wear a buzz, but got curious about trying sly. I would not go back now. I love the smooth feel on the dome. You're almost there. You'd look good with either one.
There's a lot of head shaving experience here on SBG. Just ask, and let us encourage you to join us.

When I had long hair, people routinely guessed I was in my mid-30s while I was in my mid-20s (not 100% related to appearance, I was also a pretty senior executive and have always been perceived as "mature.").
Now at 30 people are guessing I'm in my 20s :)
The age thing might not have anything to do with your hair, and it might actually be a compliment (being perceived as more mature/responsible), so don't let it get you down too much.
Plus in the grand scheme of things, 34 vs 28 isn't that huge a deal. But you're right, they probably did envy the buzz >:D

I think the buzz looks good. You seem to have a good hairline and it's dark so I think you would get a lot of shadow. A good buzz can look just as good
-
Welcome. You look quite well with a buzz cut.

Congrats! Looks great!

Welcome my friend. The buzz looks good. Some people are just hopeless at estimating ages -- you don't seem to have enough wrinkles to be 32 so I would guess about 28 or maybe 26.
Much, much easier to keep it buzzed than to go with all that other crap and you are saving money big time. A lot of people spend thousands on various treatments only for them to fail down the track. Some on this site have had hair plugs and when they no longer looked adequate they wanted to shave it all off but felt it necessary to have the scars caused at the donor site treated first. More cost and worry.

I totally agree, I made the decision when I started looking at pictures of people doing the hair transplant thing, the scars looked awful! and you need to maintain it constantly, that's not fun for me :(

Welcome to the forum, you've made the right choice in buzzing down. It's the natural way to go. O0
