Tomorrow morning, at 9 AM, Santa Claus is coming to our Town. He will be arriving at our town Fire Hall, hopefully, by way of Harley Davidson (weather permitting).
I have the Honor of doing this for the fourth time. I have become our town Santa Claus and this will be the first year that I am actually doing multiple events. I'll also be at the Town tree lighting ceremony at our park tomorrow evening and at a town Christmas Gala Dinner next Saturday evening.
The event tomorrow is "Breakfast with Santa". This day has turned out to be one of my favorite days of the year each year. I love, love, love being Santa for all the kids. It is a remarkable morning for me because I get to see the pure Joy of Christmas on every single face. I've actually watched some of these kids start to grow up.

I did not know that Santa really was bald! under all that stuff!
I hope you're like the Richard Attenbourough Santa in Miracle on 34th Street. We just watched that movie a week ago, and it brought tears to my eyes. He played the part so well.

The wife is going to be snapping some photos. I'll get them posted tomorrow.
Today is also my daughter's Birthday so we 're having a roller skating party this afternoon. There are ten 11 year old girls looking forward to having me skate with them.
Then back to our house at 4PM for a Family birthday party. Some Friends will be joining us for beers while my daughter and three of her Friends have a sleep over.
My cup runneth over!!

That's a great experience - being Santa.
Regardless of tradition (a/k/a religion) this time of year provides some of the most heartwarming and endearing moments.
Thanks for sharing yourself with them, and the experience with us.

No cigars last night but definetly some beers with Friends. I rode the Harley Sleigh into town at 6:30 last evening and I did the countdown for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. I even spoke to a few more kids before I rode the "Sleigh" back to the North Pole.
Look for a couple photos in another thread.

Mike, You are a great looking Santa. That is great that you are doing that.
A belated Happy Birthday to your daughter. She is a beauty. Hope that the birthday party went well. Wish I could have seen it. Please post some pictures. I have not had skates on in years but have many fond memories of skating when I was a lot younger. Be careful on the motor cycle.
