Title: I'm not sure what this is called
Post by: Slay172 on December 02, 2012, 08:41:32 PM
I've seen this a couple time, but I could never find out what causes it, and or how many people have it.

I have a bit of one as well, is it out of the normal?

The curve on top of their head. What do you think?

G'Day Slay,
Oh ok, I can see it now you have pointed it out. I didn't notice it until you pointed it out.
If most are like me, they wouldn't notice unless it was pointed out to them.

Why don't you find it strange? A person hardly sees it.

I guess we would see it more if more people shaved their heads :S

Thanks for the help.

I think it's called being overly self-critical.  8)

I think it's called, character, If everyone looked the same bald it would be boring don't you think? All the different head shapes make going sly interesting.

Most people wont notice what your head looks like anyway, and even most of those that do notice wont be bothered/comment on it anyway.  O0

As long as you are happy it is all that matters mate!

Beardman, that is true.  The world would be very boring if we all looked the same.

This is called needless nitpicking. This is the pursuit of something that only exists in people's minds: perfection.

Accept it. Overlook it. Enjoy it.

Couldn't have said it better.

Can't add any more, there's nothing to worry about there... if you're finding faults with the way David Beckham looks, you're searching pretty hard.

The slight bump on the back of the skull?  I also did not notice at first (even though I believe I have one of those myself).  Rarely are any heads perfectly spherical, even if they appear that way from a distance.

IF I'm seeing what you seem to be indicating then it's a place where in skull formation during primary blastula, the formative plates of the skull met at an imperfect angle and some slight indentation is left. But I'm not sure I'm seeing what you're writing about. Under any cirmcumstances, I'm with everyone else, what  is it that draws you to this very, very minor thing? When I started shaving my head it was noticed that I had quite a prominent scar left from early onset child hood when my sister, the little minx, got me in the upper temple with a claw hammer. Now that's noticeable..

I think that we all have images in our minds of what a "perfect" head shape should be. But, as there are predominately "haired" heads in our environment we don't really know what's out there. Imagine if we did see a bald head that perfectly matched our internal mind's-eye image -- I reckon that it would be pretty shocking and we would quickly change our idea of what a "perfect" shape should be.

Both blokes in the pics look fine.
