Can anybody identify with me? I've never been happy with my looks, even when I was a kid. I never wanted to be in photos, I thought my nose was too big, my ears were gigantic and then the hair loss started, giving me a Friar Tuck hairstyle for the next 40 years. I hated the way I looked, I'm a great dresser but I didn't even like seeing my reflection in a store window. Two weeks ago it changed. Shaved my head and love how I look. My ears now look in proportion to my skull ( I really like them now, I don't feel like a member of the Mouse Club anymore) I now see I have a Nobel nose. Suprise! Under that bad hair was a handsome man.

Picture or no picture ? I haven't conquered the photo posting yet. But I know you guys aren't going to tell me I'm handsome. The point is "I KNOW I'M HANDSOME" that's what really counts. I haven't felt this good in my entire life. What a great web site.

Agreed! Congrats on finding the SLY you! You're not alone in that many guys find a new found confidence when they shave their head. I know I did and I didn't expect it at all. It's one of the reasons that I created this site; as to help guys achieve the same thing.

Congratulations for acknowledging that good-looking guy in the mirror.
We are so quick to be critical of ourselves it's refreshing to see the opposite, in a non-narcissistic way.
This new attitude will carry you well for many years ahead.
Though ... a pic would be good proof for the "doubting Thomas" crowd.

Looks like nearly everybody here identifies with your experience. Just about everyone, given a little time, thinks that they look better slick. I know I do and it took no time at all -- I was really surprised.
A slight pity that it took you so long but I can say the same for me too. Oh well, at least we have found some increased freedom now which will last the rest of our lives if we so choose. What good news.

Congrats and welcome. It is so true about the confidence thing. You will feel that way from here on in and it keeps you motivated to stay Sly. Been 8 months for me and no turning back. It s oe thing where I don't think he novelty wears off at all. It took me a few months to share a pic so I get it.

You nailed it! It's all about how you feel about it. But wouldn't you expand on your new confidence if you as well shared your pics? :p people see you in real life, why can't we?? You can be sure we'll be honest :popo
