Hello everyone my name is Isaiah and I have been on the fence for about a year and just getting my hair cut lower and lower to a point that it was basically just a shadow. I went to my barber yesterday and looked at him and told him to do it, he already knew what I was talking about. So now I am bald he did the WAHL 5 star shaver and it was pretty smooth yesterday but a little more that 24 hours later I feel the stubble and I am thinking about taking a razor to it to keep it clean. I am not going back so I am here to stay just debating between the trimmer or razor route. But regardless hello and I hope I can bring something to the forum because I am sure I will get alot from it

Welcome. Do the razor. You will love it.
-
Yes use the razor daily.
It's a nice look/feel.
-
Welcome! Yes, the razor is a must do...just make sure you have all of the tools when you do...any questions, don't be afraid to ask!
-
Welcome Isaiah ... add one more in the "do the razor" column. Nothing like it.
-
Welcome to the club mate!
Definitely razor shave it, the feeling is an amazing thing, so much better then just a trimmed shave
-
Thanks a lot guys, I am going to get at it first thing this morning. Do you guys highly recommend the Headblade ATX or is it just as easy with a standard razor

Opinions will vary widely regarding standard razor versus the HeadBlade.
I haven't used the ATX, but I've used the HeadBlade Sport since the first day and can't imagine using anything else.

Welcome Isaiah, to the forum. I would suggest shaving so you can experience the feeling and look. At this point it's easy to change your mind and in a few days you'll have the original fuzz back. Enjoy and good luck.

Welcome Bandit. Take the plunge. Shave it all off with a razor, it is one of the most exhilarating things you can do for yourself. Look at it as just another hairstyle which is becoming rather "in" these days. I highly reccomend the Headblade Sport. You can buy generic twin blades to fit which work just as well as the Headblade blades. Good luck with your decision.

nice intro. welcome

I shaved with a regular blade this morning and it wasn't bad at all, I have never really had problems with hair bumps (knock on wood). I was looking around and found out that Wallgreens sells HB Sport so I just picked one up
Thanks A Lot Guys

Welcome, Bandit.
If the stubble bothers you, you are much better off with the razor. As you can see, most of the guys on here swear by it..

Another diehard razor fan here.
Welcome to the club!

Be VERY welcome to the club. Enjoy it! Now your shave routine will be the same as shaving your beard... you'll get accostumed!

G'Day Isaiah,
Welcome to Sly Bald Guys and the way of the Sly. You won't go back to the dark side.
I highly recommend the ATX from HeadBlade after many years using the razor.

I hope you love the HB as much as I do, please remember though with the sport, take it nice and SLOW while learning, apply NO PRESSURE to the blades, and stick to straight strokes, no hook turns, u-turns or serving to get bits you missed and you should have a great experience.
Let us know how you get on with your new HB sport O0

Welcome Isaiah and congratulation on taking the plunge.
Now that you're sly are you thinking about keeping it?

Glad you are enjoying your new look so much. O0

Welcome to the forum. Good to hear you decided to shave it down with a razor. There is nothing like the feeling of total smoothness of the dome. Good choice on the HeadBlade Sport as well, it's the best tool for the job.
Stick with it and enjoy it. O0

Welcome, Isaiah.
Great decision to have your head shaved. Keep the head shaved. Get into the routine by following the 30-Day Rule (shave your head smooth every day for 30 days - helps you get into a good routine, you get used to seeing yourself as a cool, shaved dude & helps others get used to the "new" you.)
Razor all-the-way.
Best regards.

I have never used a Headblade, period! The disposable generic 3-bladed disposable is just as good if not better to shave with, I've been using a new one every time I shave.
