Title: How you store your head blade dictates blade life.
Post by: mark on October 30, 2012, 07:10:34 PM
Any razor should be stored so that the sharp side is pointing up,then the impurities in the water can't foul the sharp end of the blade. I've been shaving my face and head every single day with the same cartridge for the past 5 weeks. Still getting great shaves every time.
This is how mine sits after every use.

Interesting, I was thinking about this the other day.

Mine has been resting on its side with no apparent ill effects, but I think I'll try the suggested pose for a while.

Interesting.

I'll have to see about moving my Headstand for my Sport off the counter and on to the wall to accomplish that position.

For my face shave, it's always done in the shower. When I used a stick shaver it got left on the hooks on the mirror - sharp would be pointed down. Now that I use the ATX for my face, it sits on it's side on a shelf that is part of the corner. Guess I'll have to find another sport for it and give this a try.
