Howdy folks. I started running sly around 3 years ago and haven't looked back since.
Just found the site last weekend, and have already converted over to a Headblader.
Before I started shaving my head, was buzzing for about 10 years. Now if my hair gets to be more than sandpaper stubble it drives me nuts.
Not much of a chatter, and it would appear there are plenty of guys around here with a ton more experience than I, but will drop in on conversations when I'm able.

Welcome to the family mate! Glad to see you finally found your way here! Are you trying out the new ATX or one of the other versions? Everyone here has different experiences in the head shaving game, there is no reason why you should think yours is any better or worse, just jump in and join the conversations O0

Thanks for the Welcome
Beardman, I got the HeadBlade Sport. Thought that design made more sense than the ATX.
I can tell it's gonna take some getting used to, but no problems with it so far.

Welcome, Mr. Nerd. I'm a computer guy, too.
Somehow a bald head seems to fit especially well for us in the back room/server closet.
YOU have more experience than I. Your profile picture looks like you are Bald By Choice (BBC). Me, too.
And I agree, I prefer a smooth top to the sandpaper or stubble. You'll get used to the headblade. Give it a week or two and take it easy with it at first. I bought mine in January and use it daily. Favorite razor. But it had/has a different feel to the standard razors.

You are most welcome mate O0
I have the sport as well, I like design too, although I am still going to give the ATX a go, to see if I prefer the pulling or pushing motions. Just not sure whether I am going to wait for it to be released in Australia or to pay to ship it from the US (can't really afford that option yet, or else I would probably have it already)
There is certainly a learning curve to the headblade, as long as you don't put any pressure on the blade and take your time until you get used to it, you should remain relatively nick free, just be careful though because no matter how good you get with the HB if you let your guard down for a second, or do something you know you shouldn't do, that is when it will bite you...
