Title: How often do you shave your dome?

I am just curious how often everyone else shaves their head. I shave every day to keep it nice and sly, but I have heard some other guys say they only shave every 2 or 3 day...

For the most part I shave every other day. However, I am trying the daily shave this week. Seem to get a lot more irritation daily than every other, but it is a work in progress(I'm sure I'll figure out a good routine).

I shave daily.  I like the ritual of shaving and love having a super smooth dome.

Daily shaver here. Also, sometimes on special occasions, I'll do a second shave if I'm going out or something.

Every day shaver too.

Once I get past the first 30 days I might take Sundays off from shaving but the other 6 days of the week I plan on shaving.

I shave every day, like it smooth at all times, but have to admit that I skip shaving on some days, mostly cause time runs against me in the morning, or sometimes to give my dome a rest.
Lately I have gone shaving every 36 hours, that's basically Monday morning, Tuesday evening, Thu morning and so on. Hitting the pillow with a freshly shaved head is like being in heaven...surprisingly stubble free until mid morning than.

I'm ending my 30 days now and I've been shaving it every other day.  I have a few reasons for why.  My hair is blonde, grows in thinly to begin with, and grows slowly too.  I also haven't perfected my technique yet, so sometimes a day of growth in the front or back feels like less than a day of growth on the sides (darn sandpaper...).  For me, shaving every other day makes it a lot easier to tell where I've already shaved during the act, saving me time.  I look forward to eventually shaving every day with a laser-like focus and accuracy.  Until then, I'll keep practicing.  I figure that I'm saving my currently-sensitive scalp some irritation, too.

every so often I can let my hair grow out in stages and it will not bother me before I decide to shave my dome again

Because I work long hours in spurts, I usually shave every third day (randomly second or fourth depending on overtime). I usually get a smooth long-lasting shave when I use a shaving brush that my shaved dome still looks (even if it doesn't feel) freshly shaved. I last shaved yesterday, and since I'm working this weekend, my next shave will be Monday.

Every day!  Except once in a while I let it go for a day - but I always hate that I did it and go back to every day.

Every other day. I don't mind the stubble look. Also I tried shaving everyday but started to get irritation on the back of my head, which meant leaving it for about 4 days without a shave.

Most of the time I shave twice a day, as soon as I feel the stubble I have to shave again its like addiction.

I'm an every day shaver as well.  I also will shave twice a day if I'm going out in the evening.   :)

Every day here too since I started 5 months ago. If I miss a day my stubble grows fast as I am BBC. I have done twice a day if I want an evening smooth like I get in the morning.

Every day here, though this past Saturday I was lazy and didn't. Shaving on Sunday I was blown away by how much smoother of a shave it was with an extra day's growth. If I didn't hate how it looks when I skip a day I'd do every other.

Yes you are right- after waiting a day the shave is really smooth the next day and I agree if I did not get so much stubble the waiting a day would look ok.

Each and every day. I was in the habit since I started shaving my face,so when I started on the bean, I just did that at the same time. Love the look and feel of a fresh shave.

Been shaving my head now for nearly 8 months. (started on 5 Feb 2012).

For the first 30 days, shaved my head every day without fail. Since then I've missed out the odd day. Due to random reasons, recently missed two days in a row. By day three my head looked and felt scruffy.

So I guess I shave my head 6 days a week.

When I shave my head, I also shave around the beard to keep it in shape. In turn, visit the barbers every 3-4 weeks for the beard to be shaped and trimmed.

Paul, how so you go on with irritation? Do you suffer with any due to shaving everyday. I'm wanting to shave everyday but I just know I will struggle with razor bumps. Maybe it's down to the razor. I could try WTG everyday to start with.

Every second day.

I have very sensitive skin - if I shave every day, the resulting irritation is quite bothersome and painful.  Skipping a day gives me a great shave every time.

Some people, their scalp just can't handle a daily shave, no matter what methods they try, or what products they use.
Keep trying different approaches, but don't try to force it to work out. WTG every day might work... ATG every day can be straight murder for some.

I have been doing the every other .  Unless I run into town, the shave has to be done.  I am trying to see if I get more shaves doing it every other or every day with these blades.  Also alot depends on how much hair a guy has left and if it is fine or course.

I haven't passed the 30-day mark yet and my scalp is still getting used to it.

I woke up this morning with a cold and I was very close to not shaving, but one look in the mirror after my shower and I went ahead and shaved.

I guess I have a daily habit now.  :)

My skin is at the point where I CAN shave everyday without irritation, and here and there I do, but I find I get a much closer shave if I do it every other day.
If I am going someplace, and by "someplace" I mean somewhere that rates higher than normal in the possible number of CITIs (Can I Touch It?s) I can and do!!  8)

I used to shave every day when I shaved with a Fusion, Hydro5, and M5.  Since I discovered DE shaving... I shave every other day because I stay super, smooth longer.   O0

Everyday shaver here too, love my dome super smooth. Plus it's my "me" time every morning.

Warhawk - I've been thinking about trying DE shaving, but just unsure and nervous about doing it....don't want to bleed out  :XX   LOL
Do you have any tips or advice for anyone thinking about trying de razors?
