I just bought some Headslick, but it doesn't say how much to use. I'm assuming (I know that's never a wise thing to do), a small amount, since the bottle claims it has over 100 shaves in this bottle. Are we talking a dime size?

I used the sample bout quarter sized but what ever works
-
It doesn't take much to do the head and face.
-
I use an amount about the size of a pea ... which is plenty. If it seems inadequate add a few drops of water. If it "dries" before you finish shaving, sprinkle on a few drops of water and lather it around a bit.
-
use it..by feel. Don't apply too much, nor too less.
-
Try about a nickle size.
-
I would agree with about the size of a large pea. I have found if you go with too much it slows down the Headblade. You will get used to the right amount. It does last for about 100 shaves though I agree.
-
I'll put in another plug here for "the pump" which is available from HeadBlade.com (75 cents) - one pump provides the perfect allotment (for me) for shaving.
-
Better to have too much than too little, I use 2 pumps mixed with abit of johnsons baby oil.

Better to have too much than too little, I use 2 pumps ...
That's my motto. Generally, two garden peas' worth seems enough. Though I generally re-apply the same amount again, when going for a second pass over the head against the grain.
HeadSlick tends to try out on the head. So add a few dabs of water and re-massage as you shave your head.
-
If you use too little, your going to pull at the hair increasing the risk of razor bump burn etc. the razor won't glide as well.
-
Lather is key. I used to use too much but once I started using say a nickel amount and adding water as I go for lather def went a long way.
-
I'm still experimenting with the amount, but I do like the shave with Headslick vs the old shave gel I was using.
-
I'm using Bald Guyz, now and I like it. O0

I used a couple of good sized drops until I got the pump. For .75 cents I recommend the pump. With it I use 2 pumps. Its whatever works for you :)
-
I only use about a pea sized amount and I am bbc. I've had the same bottle for almost 6 months and I shave 5-7 times per week!
-
I was using too much, hence having purchased another bottle this past weekend after a little over 2 months Slying. Toward the bottom of the bottle I started scaling back.
Now I am using the "pea to dime" sized and I'm still dialing it in.
I'm definitely going to check out the pump. I have a issue with it drying in the cap, and getting a mini forearm workout the next time I go to shave. LoL.

I bought the pumpers from the HB folks. One pump is enough for the entire shave. It's about a pea size. A little goes a long way. A 8 ounce bottle last me at least 90 days. Usually more.
-
Like Zed I also use the pumps with HB stuff. One pump into a shaving brush is enough for me.

One pump is ideal with a few drops of water added halfway through to revitalize it.
-
To piggyback of the fellas, I go about a pea size... 2x,once wtg and agt. Might check out this "pump" too8)
-
I use about a quarter size with a shave brush to lather head
-

Dollar General carries hand soap in a pump bottle for $1.00 a bottle that the pumps are the perfect size to screw on the Headblade bottle and are the proper length has well . Nothing wrong with Headblades but a way to get a pump without paying the shipping for a pump .
