it is interesting.
I do not agree with it, though.
Two weeks are dangerous, think about one
-
Well he keeps calling it a "bike", which it is NOT. The word bike is short for bicycle.... meaning two wheels.
This is really just a Segway that you sit on.
-
Very strange.
-
Hi Slynito: That is very interesting. I call it a uni-cycle on steroids.

No "motorcycle music"--that's weird. I like the sound of a motorcycle, it's inseparable from the concept, IMO.
-
I could see that as a nice little in town commuter vehicle. It would need to be a little faster though IMO. :D
-
Yes Doug, they'll need a little more speed, but not with me on it. The balance mechanism is totally intriguing, eh?
-
Sorry, I'm not gonna trust something with only one wheel. I believe someone said "Segway on steroids".

Not too much more speed but it would have to got a little faster to make a reasonable means of transport - and save time vs. walking.
It is a neat balancing system. Very much like a Segway. I could actually see this catching on if it's priced reasonably.

I don't think we saw a good demo in and out of traffic....not realistic. And on the sidewalks, don't get me started. In Chinese cities they allow bikes, motor scooters and motorcycles on the sidewalks competing for space with pedestrians. I always wish I were police commissioner for a year! (there would be a contract out on me, no doubt)

I feel the same way. I'd be issuing traffic tickets left and right. Same thing here in the States.
-
...and on top of the sidewalk congestion they allow motor scooters to park on the sidewalks also...they are locked and someone is paid to watch a group of them. Geez!

They are really allowed to drive full fledged, honest-to-god motorcycles on the side walk.?
-
Oh yes, but in all fairness Tom, they are in the saddle and the engine is idling and the rider has his feet on the ground walking it along. But it is a total hassle with all of that mess while trying to walk along. But the Chinese take it all in their stride and stay very calm. I have never seen road rage except from me and I am the passenger. Go check out Chinese traffic jams and such on "YouTube" they show some scenes of the disorganization.
-
I'm going to have to tell MikeKoz that he can walk his big arse Harley down the middle of the sidewalk in Bejing... :*))
-
I've never seen this in Beijing, but in other smaller cities, yes. I go a lot to Fuzhou, the provincial city of Fujian. It's small, only 6 million or so and it is a #*@&^%!!! mess.
