Hey guys,
Just come to the realisation (thanks Razor X) that it is my 3 month anniversary of slyness today! I was already planning on going out the bush for a BBQ to celebrate Father's Day (we celebrate it on the 1st Sunday of September in Australia), but now it appear I have another reason to celebrate!
The past 3 months have gone by so fast, I'm not a daily shaver because I can't shave my face every day due to irritation, and I don't like the look of being smooth on top and stubble on my face. But still look forward to my shave every other day, even 3 months on. There is just something about that smooth dome that only us sly guys seem to truly understand! I've got a hairy mate that will give it a touch every now and again and he always remarks about how weird it feels... but yet the next time I'll be bragging about how amazingly smooth it is he will give it a rub, only to say the same thing! haha.
The total change in confidence I've felt since going sly is amazing, for me it was instant weight off my shoulders since the moment checked my sister's handiwork after the first time she shaved him head for me. I never used to look in mirrors or anything like that because I wasn't happy at all with what I saw, but now I catch myself looking at myself in the mirror at least once a gym session, and I really like the improvement! And because I am happier with the image of myself I am becoming a much confident person, like I was thought I was pretty confident, in that I could do anything I put my mind too... but on a social level I am becoming much more confident.
As a result of that I've finally got myself a lunch date with a very lovely girl on Saturday. 12 months ago, this girl might not have looked twice at me, but then again the transformation between the new and old me is quite remarkable, I've gone from a middle aged looking fat balding man in his 20's, who was always happy, just not with his image; to a sly, young looking healthy guy, who is happy in all aspects of his life! So hopefully that rubs off on her, because while we've been talking together for a few weeks now, we've never actually met in person (we met on an online dating site), so hopefully everything goes smoothly. Not only will it be my first date since going sly, but it will be my first date ever... So for me it'd going to be quite an interesting experience... one that now I think about it I am quite excited to finally be having!
Hopefully most of you made it this far so, thanks for sharing the past 3 months with me guys, it's been awesome, and while I don't doubt I would have made it this far by myself, it's great to know that have such an awesome group of like minded people to share the experience with!

Thanks Harry, that means a lot. I might need all the luck I can get on Saturday, apparently she isn't very confident is social situations, so don't know how it is going to go... I have faith all will go well though, we've been chatting through the dating site almost daily for a couple of weeks now, so now all I have to do is not put my foot in it :P

You've said what so many of the guys here found who got off the fence, moved on to control the essentially non-issue of mpb, and are getting back into life as free SBG!

I've been debating if I should do anything with it before my date... I think it looks great like it is, but if you can think of any fine tuning, I'll see what I can do!

I just rolled over my 2 months, and last week my secretary said "I saw a picture of you from before your shaved your head - I didn't even recognize that person!"
