does going against the grain mean for a quicker shave? I just did a pass with and against with long strokes earlier and I notice it to be a little quicker then usual going against the grain rather than with the grain also shaving in the shower or during your shower mean a quicker shave?

Shaving in the shower can make it quicker because your scalp stays warm for the duration which makes the hair softer. Going atg, for me, just means a closer shave.

true.
I mean, what's one minute plus or minus of your daily shave?

I love the quickness of the shave and how soft and smooth your dome feels afterward

The headblade's a sweet shave.

Patience grasshoppa! You can't just go from rookie to veteran, you gotta put in the work and learn the ropes. Once you've determined what the best method of shaving is for you then you'll get the quick easy & smooth shave you desire. As for shaving in the shower, I'm not sure if it makes the shave go by faster or if it just makes your shower time longer.
I'd say it's a matter of preference whether you shave in the shower or not.

Shaving ATG has made my shaving experience better. I use Secret Shave ,under shaving soap ,using the Gillette Fusion Proglide and that combo works very well for me.

Just takes practice, I do both against and with the grain every time I shave and i never spend more than 5-7 minutes shaving.

I go against the grown all over first, then with the grain. it just seems to pick up any left over stubble or rough spots.

For me, wtg first pass then atg.... Using my head blade of course ;)

I've noticed my shave to be a little quicker if I shave during my shower

In the shower for me too. I find that the warm water helps througout. That said it can make you use tons more water in the time u are shaving. Open to others ideas to see what they think. ATG here only.

Shaving in the shower does help with a quicker shave, I think it is because you can rinse your head and check for spots faster than at a sink. I sink shave and shave ATG only within 3 passes. 1st to get most of the hair, 2nd to get some missed spots, and 3rd for any final touch ups. I am a large believer in hair reduction and not to get all in one pass. Reduction is really the best way and requires more than one pass, this also is a good way to prevent or lead to less irritation of the face and scalp. Most causes of nicks/cuts and razor burn is going to fast, although razor burn can happen from different circumstances (too little or poor shaving lather, bad/dull razor, etc).

Yes, in the shower you can wash the head and get the hair soft and ready for the shave soap and the steel. O0
