SBGs: A big bump developed on the back of my neck where I had surgery.....Instead of seeing a doctor, I made the mistake of popping it with peroxide and a pair of tweezers. The spot bled for a while and then stopped. Now I am left with a big red mark of broken skin (beats the dark black mark I had before) but it still hurts like hell....Should I wear a bandage? Any suggestions on how to get the skin to heal faster? I think I will stop shaving for about three days to see what happens. Thanks for the help!

Try an ice-pack alternating with a very warm damp wash cloth
Tea Tree oil can also help and you can get it from most chemists/drug stores.
I read somewhere that models dab toothpaste on their zits and overnight it takes the redness out!
Hope they help!

When I lived in Hawaii we used a paste of baking soda (and water) on insect bites and stings from sea creatures - stopped the pain and helped to pull the moisture out.

Thanks guys....will have to give them a try...this weather is even killing my mood to shave ;D ;D One good thing about this site...only another bald guy would understand how a bald guy hates having any (visible) blemishes on his scalp!
