I know a lot of you guys saw the threads about a new line of products coming out in October by a new company named "Bee Bald". I posted a press release about the products and their launch that a nice lady that works for the company sent me.
I, and others, posted our initial thoughts about the products as they were mentioned in the press release. The general feeling was that the products were pricey. I figured that was the end of it but made a mental note to try and find their products locally once they were launched in October.
BUT.... last night I received a very nice email from the Owner of Bee Bald. He had read the thread where I had posted the press release. He even read all of our comments criticizing the prices and had a good laugh at a few of them.
I've emailed back and forth with Dennis all morning. Dennis explained a little about the company and their products. Dennis seems like a great guy and he is passionate about his products. He explained that they are indeed high end products and that only small amounts are needed to accomplish tasks that require a greater amount of products that are not as high end. I suspected this when I read the ingredient list of the products but it was nice to hear it from the actual Owner of the company.
Dennis is indeed a head shaver and has tried most of the products that we all use. He even gave HeadBlade and BaldGuyz products a pat on the back as being fine products.
I am VERY impressed with the Bee Bald company as a whole (products aside since i haven't tried them!) at this point. It's not often that you can email a company for information, get it a day or two later, and then be contacted by the actual Owner of the company. All of that alone speaks loudly to me. Throw in the fact that Bee Bald is an American start up company with products made here in the USA ... well I've changed my mind and will give them a shot. No offense meant to all of my SLY brothers around the world but I love when I can buy from my fellow Americans.

Thanks Mike for the updated info. Your post certainly swayed my initial thoughts. Looking forward to seeing the final product. :)

No Doug.. they did not. I'm guessing that the company may not be permitted to do that yet???? Maybe Dennis will read this thread and chime in.

Yeah, it's a good sign when the owner of a company responds to an issue in such a timely manner. It's even better when that owner is in agreement about the high cost of his product and takes the time to justify it. That always impresses me regardless of what company it is. I'll probably reconsider my initial reluctance and try the product.

I signed up on the Bee Bald website to receive information and asked what retail outlets will be carrying their products. Will let you know what I hear.

I liked their page on Facebook and asked them. This was their response...
Bee Bald Man Care Products wrote: "Yes, we are in the process of negotiating with retailers but unable to provide specifics until we have firm agreements, hopefully by late September. Thank you for asking!"
They were very quick to respond. Another plus for them in my book.

I'll say this again... Dennis is an awesome guy. He emailed me at LEAST three times this AM and was very up front with me.
His enthusiam for his products is so apparent and I did NOT think, even for a minute, that he was just trying to sell me on his products. He didn't bash his competitors products but actually praised them... a true sign to me that he has class AND that he has confidence in his products.
I'm really glad that he took the time to contact me and explain some things to me.... especially since it looks like we here at SBG will actually give his products a chance now. I hope Dennis is following this thread!!
