Title: Ouch!!!
Post by: -Doug- on August 22, 2012, 08:08:46 AM
This morning's shave was a blood bath!

It started out like any other shave but then I hit this one spot  D@^^ :Xo! that I've cut in the past and knew right away that it was going to be a bleeder. I have cut myslef there once before so I think that's why it was such an easy target for my razor. Needless to say, I'm going to take few days off from scraping the face to allow this wound time to heal. I may also consider some goatee options as well. :*))

The icing on the cake is that tonight we are having a family picutre taken for our church's directory. I hope the photographer does some serious touching up in post.

Doug,

I can sympathize - I got up a few minutes later than expected this morning and rushed a bit with the DE head shave.  Result: a nice nick behind the left ear, not deep, but enough to cause a good bleed!

Hi Doug:  Ahhhh man... sorry 2 hear about the mishap.  I hope you heal quick.  Apply some Neosporin or any type of generic antibiotic ointment and leave on open to air.  Apply twice daily to speed up the healing.  Like you mentioned earlier... it would be a perfect time to sport the goat. O0

I've got the same problem with a spot on the back of my head. You should look good with a goatee.

That's a nasty one Doug. One of the main reasons I will not use a DE.

Doug, there is a solution to nicks on the chin.  Grow a beard!  Looks good with a bald head.
And you can grow a beard!

I agree. Grow a beard for a month and post your pics! It will look the business.

Definitely +1 on the goatee. I used nipple cream on a nick a few weeks ago, on the advice of one of my patients and was surprised by how quickly it healed.
