And loving it... 

I have a bit of a shine but otherwise no complaints here...  For those of you who are wondering if you should or shouldn't do it - really just do it...

For me (and again its only 10 days) I can now see that my former hair might have been holding me back...  I looked tired, and more importantly I felt very held back... well that's all changed...

trying a goatee to see if that works for me but otherwise thankful - and thankful for all the support here... and especially to my partner...

I'm glad to hear that you are happy, and that it's working out for you, GotThere! You can try matte lotions/moisturizers to cut down on shine, but there's only so much you can do to combat the natural glow, my friend. I say wear it with pride. Part of the nature of the beast, know what I mean? 8)

Be sure to keep us updated on the beard growth. There are lots of advocates for that here, as well (including myself).

Thanks. A little addendum just saw my mother for the first time since going sly and though we were both nervous she loves it.

That is a distinct possibility. I shave every day and love it.  My head is adjusting and my skin is balancing out the tones and colors. Definitely the best thing I did for myself in a while.

Glad that you are enjoying BBC...my mother didn't like it, but I figured she added it to her list...ha, ha, ha.
