Hi guys! After hesitating and being very nervous I forced myself to the barber today. I asked him to shave it bald. He asked: "With a razor?" I replied: "Yes". He started to buzz my hair off, then leathered my head and shaved it smooth. I am on vacation. Now I am very nervous about my bf reactions. I guess he will freak out...
-
Looking good bro, he may freak out at first, but he will come around O0
-
Hopefully he won't freak out, as it looks amazing 0mm!
-
Two things ...
First ... you look absolutely amazing. This style really suits you.
Second ... other than saying you are nervous, you didn't say how you like it. The smoothness. The relief of having done it; no more worry about will you do it. The sense of having achieved something for yourself that you've told us you wanted for so long.
The only thing missing is your smile. And that will come in time.
I hope you will go out in public and celebrate. You deserve it.

I love to touch the bare skin. It was such a relief and I felt empowered when I walked out the barber shop. No my feeling is something between relief and excitement and nervousness. I will go out and have a cup of coffee in the sun
-
Nice! I'm sure he'll understand.
-
It really looks amazing on you! Now get into enjoying & maintaining it! I really hope you keep it shaved!
-
I love to touch the bare skin.
Know exactly what you mean.
You will enjoys that smooth bare skin feeling.
-
You look totally HOT! Don't be nervous I am sure he will love it. We all do! How was your experience at the barber shop? I have always wanted to experience getting my head shaved at the barber.
-
Another thing I love the beard too! :)
-
Still can't believe I did it. It feels great and I can't stop touching it. Being in the street felt great. But I still wait for that reaction tonight. :-\ I am on holiday for the next ten days starting saturday and plan to pack my fusion razor. We will meet a friend there who has seen me last time a few month ago with hair (one of these hip undercuts).

When you meet your friend, do not mention your new haircut. Let's see if your friend says something first.

And have some answers ready in case the "Why?" question is asked. Such as,
I needed a change.
Time to shake up my life a bit.
What are you talking about? I haven't changed anything! <grin>
-
0mm i think you look better with the shave. Now, you just have to maintain it.
Hope you'll have a great vacation and don't stress out so much, in the end it's your choice what you do with your hair, your still the same person, well maybe happier because you decided to follow your wishes.
-
glad you've done it again
-
As i've expected my bf hates it. I don't know if he will change his mind.
-
In the end, you should chose on your own what you do with your hair.
Of course it's good to know your partner's point of view, but that doesn't mean you can't do it your way.
-
My bf didn't like me being sly at first either. He came around a couple of weeks later though when I made him touch it. Now he loves it as much as I do and he gives me a scalp massage every time I see him. There's an old saying that fits here: "Those who matter don't mind. Those who mind don't matter."
-
Add me up to those who said the shave looks really amazing on you. I hope the partner learns to accept and respect your choice.
-
Lose the controlling BF. If he does not love you enough to at least try to like your choice of haircut then he has an idea in his mind that bald guys are somehow inferior or less desirable and he does not want one. There are plenty of us out there who would...
-
Omm, give your boyfriend time, he will either get used to your "Haircut" or he won't. You have made a decision that is important to YOU. Leave the choice up to him as to whether he wants to ACCEPT you with your haircut, or not.
-
0mm, it rocks, man....As for the BF.....be true to yourself and what you want! F.W.I.W., I see some recession at the temples in your picture with hair.....The beard is a plus too!
-
@Sirharry12: Yes, the hairline is a bit receding at the temples. One more reason to shave. I think if I would grow the beard it would give the face a more balanced look.
-
Day 4 and still shaving. Loving it. But an old friend I met did say nothing at first. Later she admitted that she likey me better with hair. My bf is still not thrilled either. Anyway. I keep on shaving.
-
That's the spirit. Keep shaving until your boyfriend gets use to your smoothness.
-
Keep it up, 0mm! We're behind you! Remember: The poorest man is the man whose pleasures depend upon the permission of others...
