Thanks KG and WARHAWK....really feeding from the positivity. BTW, you both look amazing with the look! :@`
-
Bobster, thanks for the support, would love to see how you rock the look too!
-
Thanks for the shout out, but no thanks is necessary. We're all here for essentially the same reason. [Though I will give my own shout out to Tyler for getting this going in the first place.]
But isn't it amazing how a simple haircut can be life altering? It still boggles my mind.
-
I feel great and it's all due to SBG....thanks FG for your words of wisdom, they were ringing in my ears when the razor did its work!
-
Looking forward to more posts from you as you enjoy the sly lifestyle.
-
yes, it is. me, you and the others makes it perfect.
-
Thank you very much mate! I feel very honoured, but as FG said, you didn't need to thank me. Seeing you take the plunge and hearing how happy you were with the results was reward enough O0
As for some beard tips, I am quite a fan of bigger is better :*)), but I know that this isn't for every one. have you decided what style you are going for? The van dyke (goatie and mo) is my favourite at the moment, but I wouldn't mind growing a Ned Kelly (Famous Australian outlaw) styled beard... one day. But if you haven't decided yet have a look around the forums, you will find almost every style imaginable on a sly guys face in these forums!
For the most part though, the best advice is to let it grow out for a while (but keep it neat) then style it how you like. Oh and get yourself a good beard trimmer! I think quite a few guys are privy to the Wahl.
-
Glad you enjoy it!....I know I do!
-
Thanks beardman. Full beard all the way.....not sure why I shaved it last time really!?!
-
Because you were silly! but please don't do it again... I would hate this to happen to you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nQwLlFF1As (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nQwLlFF1As) hahaha

I hope that doesn't happen to me!...growing it back now! O0

Thanks Mr Jules, I feel my BBC is a tribute to Sir Chris Hoy.....any tips on how to be bald and bearded?
Good man, F77Scot.
Bald and bearded is a great look, because you have maximum striking contrast between the smooth eye catching head and the some manly facial hair. It's also a great feeling, too. Rub your head and tug at the beard - it's a real play centre. I do get the odd stare - think its guys who haven't got the courage to pull off the B & B look. That's my theory.
If you really want to grow a beard, then for the next few weeks you'll need to focus on keeping your head smooth and forget about your growing beard. Do not shave your face at all for at least 3 weeks. Let the beard grow. After 3 week, you will look a bit 'rough'. During days 2-4 of the growing your beard, it will feel itchy. But that goes away.
Then after 3 weeks, go to barbers and get the beard shaped. In about 15 minutes of shaping, you will go from a rough look to a shaped beard. It's a real transformation. Now you can start shaving around the beard keeping it shaped. Give another month to fill out while periodically shaping it with a razor. After another month, go back to the barbers or use home trimmers.
Through this whole beard growing experience, you will also be keeping your head smooth and shaved everyday. It's a busy schedule for you, F77Scot. But there are more gold medals on offer.

Glad to hear it mate! Especially when just last week you were close to not even doing it!
-
And if I had not found SBG I would still be debating whether to go for it or not!

And if I had not found SBG I would still be debating whether to go for it or not!
Now you can use that wasted brain power and energy on other things, like why is the lion regarded the king of the jungle, when it's home is the open woodlands and grassy plains of Africa? Or If a tree was to fall in the woods and there was no one there to hear it, would it make a sound?
-
Maybe that's because of the fact that there is only ONE lion in the jungle- one lion to rule em all ,nobody saw that lion because he is a well hidden ,he is a king after all :/O -those cats on savanna plains are mere kittens for him and Schrodingher's cat is almost certainly dead ....
-
I would like to think Schrodingher's cat is alive, but I will never know until I open the box...
-
@Scott
Glad you found this site. You are looking good and sounding enthused about being Sly, all from visiting SBG. Awesome man.
-
Beardman -You really don't wanna do that ::) "Damocles sword is hanging over Pandora box " you don't wanna play with it - trust me -it's DEAD ;)
-
Thanks Waine, this great feeling would not have happened without SBG!

Wait, Pandora's Box is in the room too? oh the dilemma which one do I open first :*))
-
You should not try to open either of them -something is rotten in both of them ;D
-
Or is there only something rotten in one of them?
-
Guys, not sure where you have taken this thread....the only thing I know about Schrodinger's cat comes from The Big Bang Theory....so not sure that is much help??..let's just stay positive on te subject.
-
Haha, we have taken it on a wild ride!
