Las Vegas was simply AMAZING...Expensive as all heck, but nonetheless, Amazing! (LOL)

I'm in my 30s, live in the US, and have never been to Vegas.. Shame on me! I'll bet even your excellent photos don't do it justice... I'd love to go, but it probably won't for a while, yet!

Post by: Noodles on August 08, 2012, 12:04:06 PM: Glad you guys liked the video(s)! This was our FIRST visit to Vegas. Loved every (expensive) minute of it! (LOL). IMHO, the only thing(s) that kind of take away from the glitz and glamour of things are the "time share" bandits, who seem to constantly come at you from out of nowhere and the people on the street pushing the "Hey meester....Wanna meet my seester? I can have her up to your room in teen minutes..." routine. Other than that, the sights are AWESOME - especially all that NEON at night!

Just about the only two things we did NOT do was visit the Hoover Dam, and jump off the top of the Stratosphere (The Sky Jump). Before we left NOLA, the kids and wife were all "Gung-Ho" about leaping off the Strato...but reality caught up with them quick, when they were staring up the side of the building and realized EXACTLY how high 858 feet really was! LOL

For those of you who may be "Sky Jump newcomers", Check out this video on YouTube. I hear it's a rush like no other! (No..I didn't take the plunge, either! Besides, my CLEAN underwear was back@ the hotel!) - LOL!

I HATE home videos , but yours are almost professional. I watched the first 3 before work this morning and thought that somebody would mention that #4 was not available. They did not, so I did. I want a good link to #4.

Post by: tomcj2 on August 08, 2012, 08:22:24 PM: Last year my wife and I spent three days in Vegas on Fremont Street. We had a nice room at Fitzgerald's at $29 a night that included a full breakfast. The night life on Fremont St. was beyond belief. We went to "The Strip" and saw the sights, but I was glad that we did not stay there.

How much did I win??

ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I did not put even a nickel into a machine. How can I win if I do not play? I cannot lose!!!
