Hope you'll receive and send only good news from your new smartphone!
-
Sweet! Which one did you get?

I've got the i4 now and I love it. I'm looking forward to upgrading to the 4S in a few months.

Smart phones are great the first couple of months...Then the lag sets in, followed by horrible battery life. I voluntarily switched back to a flip phone. It aint fancy, but I dont have to constantly worry about battery life. And I dont have to worry much about the cost if I lost or destroyed my phone on a jump!
AIRBORNE!

Still can't decide to get one of those smart phones.

I hear you, but I run my own business so it's super handy, emails pretty much run my life so I need a reliable mobile email client. Plus I needed a new camera anyway, and the camera on the 4s is pretty impressive. Battery life is the biggest thing, but hey, that's the sacrifice we make for convenience.

Thats pretty cool you have your own business! How is it being your own boss?

You should check out the tapatalk app. This forum supports it and I think it makes viewing it on a smartphone a little more enjoyable.

Pretty awesome, except that fact that I don't get paid if I don't work... hence I think I've only ever taken 2 sick days in almost 7 years (time spent in hospital/recovery not included, although that really hurt my wallet). The other negative is there's no one to blame when the boss screws up, because he's me!

Thanks Doug, I read about it in one of your previous posts and got it when I had an ipod touch, so fortunately it just syncs over. Thanks for the tip in the first place, man does it make things easier.

Welcome to the dark side, smart phones will soon rule the world haha. I never used to use my phone much until I got a smart phone, now I am on the thing frequently through out the day. Whether it's checking facebook, SGB, emails, or solitaire (pretty much the best app I ever got) The thing that is getting me, especially in the last 6 months is the internal storage space... I have the old HTC Desire, and the storage space was fine 2 years ago... but now all the apps are so much bigger, and most of the ones I still have on my phone can't actually be transferred to my micro SD...
-
Yeah, I reckon storage is going to become an exponentially bigger issue.
-
I think the newer phones have got it pretty much covered for now... provided you don't fill them up with music or videos. But you never know what the future will bring!
-
Estimate is that mobile phones will exceed the world's population by 2017!
More than one phone for every man, woman and child in the world. And there still are developing nations that don't know what a phone is!
Yikes. How many phones do YOU have? (I have one and rarely use it)
-
I only have 1, and I use it extensively... before I had a phone with internet it was a different story... haha
-
I have one and I depend on it for work every day. As far as storage goes, I pushed the boat out and got a 64gb so I didn't have to worry about storage because it's also my primary camera.
-
Smart move!
-
Its nice technology
I have the Motorola Razor X.. best phone yet and I had many

Once you've experienced the convenience and the utility of a smartphone I really can't imagine the 'old' phone idea anymore--I've got one phone & I get all e-mail for business and personal, text messaging, weather, news, SBG--of course, maps, restaurant reservations--the list goes on and on. Just like a computer, I can even access documents on my office computer! Mine's a Razr X and I wouldn't "leave home without it!"

4s user here aswell. Top quality phone, although I would of gone for the s3 if I was buying one now.
