Hey my name is Tim. I am 18 years of age, and I have finally shaved my head. I have always wanted to do it, so I did two days ago. Any hints for the youngster?

Welcome to the site, Tim! So awesome that you have decided to shave your head at such a young age. Hints... well there are plenty of threads with lots of useful information around here. Search away, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Are you planning on staying bald for now? If so, my initial advice is to try different shaving creams and other products (razors; moisturizers; witch hazel; etc.) until you find a combination you really like. It can be fun if you're into that sort of thing, which most of us are.
Looking good! Hope you don't take this personally, but you look older than 18. I bet you can buy beer for your friends no problem. ;)

You look great with a shaved head and I don't think you really need any hints, you look like a pro!
Just keep the beard, it complements your shaved head well.

I wanted to shave my head since I was in my 20's and didn't do it till my 50's. Sorry I didn't do it years ago, but I guess better late than never...at least I'll be bald going forward.

Do the 30 day challenge then decide if you want to stay Sly permanently.

Only time and practice will make you more comfortable with the new look. But most important, enjoy the new lifestyle and the quest to find the "perfect shave".
