Good morning all,

I'm another new guy here, recommended to this site by one of my good friends at SparkPeople.  I had posted there my intent of getting my head shaved this coming Friday 7/13 (my next hair appointment) and the reaction from my SP brethren was very positive and supportive. 

I'm pretty sure I'll be posting and exploring more this week, but thanks in advance for all of your support, and look forward to joining the ranks of "bald" (which I am not that far away from anyway!).

Welcome aboard, plmitch2! Sounds like you have come to the right place. Out of curiosity, are you going to stay bald, or is this a once-off kind of thing?

Welcome. That's four days from now ... and they will pass very slowly as I know the excitement of experiencing the "new you."  I'd planned for 5/21, but in the end couldn't wait and went Sly on 5/18. Probably the best thing I've ever done.

Enjoy the transformation.

Whoa!  That looks fantastic.  Looks sharp and clean. Very distinguished. Makes you look younger Mitch. (I've seen your before pictures on the other site). And look at the smile on your face, beaming confidence.

Welcome to the sly group.  The members here are awesome.  They took me from regular haircuts to buzzing, to electric shaving and finally to using a blade. 

Your bald head looks great.  It is hard to imagine how you looked with hair.
