Hello fellow chrome domes: Just wanted to know... where will U be head shaving in celebration of Independence Day, 4th of July? On a side note... what razor will U be using. Also what are your plans?
I will start: I will be head shaving in my beautiful home town of Pensacola. I will be using a DE razor of choice: Edwin Jagger 89L or the Weber DLC. Thank God that I will be off from work and my beautiful wifey and I will be having a very quiet BBQ cookout.
So... how 'bout U? Where will U be head shaving on the Fourth? What razor? What are your plans? I'm looking forward 2 hearing your story?

We just got back home from four days of camping... so we'll be spending part of the 4th at our small town celebration. Around 5 PM we'll be moving on to a Friend's house for a small party with a lot of GREAT food.

Home. With prime strip steaks cooking on the grill!

Our town has fireworks on July 3rd and the town next to us has them on the 4th, so we get to enjoy double the fun.
So - my wife and I will have a small BBQ on the 4th (menu TBD) and then go over to our friends' house to watch the fireworks.
As to shaving: my trusty Fusion will do the trick!

Yep, we shall celebrating 4 July here in the UK. ;)

Alas, normal routine and work day - somebody's gotta keep things runnin'

In Philadelphia at Independence Hall where it all began, then BBQing at my daughters place just 4 blocks away and then fireworks at William Penns Landing on the Delaware. Shaving with my trusty Fusion.
-
On vacation at home in the San Francisco Bay Area with no special plans.

Last year I celebrated the 4th in Destin, FL by shaving my head for the first time. It was an Independence Day in more than one way for me - celebrating the great words written by the founding fathers of our nation and independence from a rediculous toilet-seat fringe haircut I never wanted anyone to see!
Free at last from a haircut imposed by genetics that I had hated, I could have and should have shaved years ago. I'll be celebrating the 4th at home in Illinois this year with my trusty Headblade!

We have the day off from work at the office.
Local town parade at 10 a.m. Then I'm 'catering' a picnic lunch for a good buddy and his family. They have 5 1/2 children. Oldest is 8. Mom is about ready to pop with #6 and I want to bless them by giving mom a day off from cooking. So we've fixing the food and taking it to their yard for a picnic lunch. They eat gluten free, mostly vegetarian, etc. but we know how to cook that way. So planning a fun meal.
I'll be shaving with a fresh razor in the head blade. Probably top it all off with a few spritzes of Calvin Klein Eternity Summer cologne (love the scent).
We'll walk to the town fireworks in the evening. Traffic is too heavy to not walk. You get there and back faster if you walk! Yes. That's the beauty of a small town.

Ok. Jumped the gun. Put in the new blade today. Wow. smooth.
And to celebrate, I'm sporting a new shirt from Men's Warehouse, http://www.menswearhouse.com/shop/p_pronto-uomo-navy-plaid-woven-shirt_12001_700000437_12751_700146298_-1_700000437_____noSpecialSizes
Blue is my favorite color. Add a blue sweater vest (it's cold in the air conditioning in the office).
have to see if I can get a new profile picture today.

No plans here....will visit some of the Veterans at the War Home in the morning, then go home and take a nap and prepare for work that night. Will not be shaving on the 4th, because my birthday is the next day and I want to shave with a little peach fuzz. I will be trying the Headblade that my sister bought for me on Father's Day. As for you guys, have a safe and Happy 4th...especially if you and/or your families are messing with any fireworks.

Happy early 4th, mah fellow Amuricans! Depending largely on how hungover the wife and I are, I'll be shaving at home in Illinois with my trusty Mach 3, right after I make breakfast for her and I: waffles from scratch, and freshly-ground coffee.
Then make the most of the day off from work by doing absolutely nothing and enjoying time with my family. Hoping to get in some Xbox time. Being a new daddy is too time-consuming! :D
I hope it's a great day for everyone! O0
