Title: is this abnormal?
Post by: Paul the Headblader on July 01, 2012, 10:30:37 PM
People usually use razor for the face and the  clippers for the head. I do it all upside down. is it normal? When someone asks me why I do not shave my heard I say" Because I hate to shave" lol.

Yes, I think that is quite normal.  Also, its more about being "you" than "normal".  What works for you works the best!

I don't let clippers anywhere near my face, and I am hesitant and keep a tight grip on the razor, I am fearful they might attack my beard... haha

I tried to trim my moustache with my Wahl clippers recently, the damn thing nipped my lip, so now I much prefer scissors for that job.

I enjoy more shaving my head than shaving my face, so i can relate to this.
I have a trimmer and it has 2 attachments for head-hair and one for beard so there many using the trimmer for beard/facial hair.

I used to use the clippers in the past on my face when I was a weekly shaver. knock it down with with no guard then chase it with the razor. but now that I shave my face and head every other day I have no need for the clippers
