I'm 28 and live in Washington state with my partner, Chris, and our two cats, in the house we bought last year.
While his hair is thick and curly, mine is baby fine and starting to thin in front. It isn't too bad; I can still compensate for it if I style my hair the "right" way.
I first noticed it thinning when I was 20. Figuring I had "caught it early", I started fussing with Rogaine and Procecia.
Several years later and with fairly poor results, I decided that nothing was worth that much trouble and decided to let nature take its course.
Last year, my hair pattern started to bother me again, so I began searching out resources on the 'net and found SBG.
After lurking for awhile, I began to realize that sly men were all around me and I hadn't even noticed!
...and if I hadn't noticed, then I knew that a stranger wouldn't think twice about whether I had hair or not.
So, after some initial false starts, here I am, sly and bold for all the world to see (okay, maybe that was too dramatic).

Hi Ecoblue, welcome to SBG's and the sly look. Looks great on you. Seems like sly guys are everywhere and I notice it more day by day.

Welcome. Suddenly noticing all the shaved dudes once you shave is sort of like when you buy a new car, and then all of a sudden, it seems like every where you turn, someone has a car like yours.

Welcome Ecoblue. Since I read about your 2 cats a thought has stuck in my mind. I am wondering how a cats sandpaper toungue on the noggin would feel. I once had a cat and he would lick my hand and I remember how it tickled and was weird. Maybe I'm weird, but when a thought gets in my head... Now the crazy lady that throws the cats on the cartoon the Simpsons just poped in there... I need a therapist! :px
Great pic though, very Sly! 8)

Welcome to the group, brother! What does your partner think of your new look?
Well, he wasn't too sure about it at first, but he seems to have warmed up to it recently.
For that matter, I'm still getting used to it, so I guess I can cut him some slack. :)

Everywhere I go, I notice just how many guys there are with buzzed or shaved heads. Looking at you now, I can't even picture you with hair--it would get in the way somehow. Anyway, welcome to the group!

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm trying to get myself over that "hump" now -- I'm trying to mentally re-adjust my image of the "default" me to include my bare head.
I had to do the same thing when I decided to grow facial hair (and keep it for more than a couple days) for the first time in my life. Yeah, I like the goatee, but I will probably play around with some new styles in the future (but probably not as many Slickdome, he seems to have tried them all.)

Welcome man! Make sure to keep it sly bro!

Welcome Ecoblue

Welcome Ecoblue. Congrats on the new look. It really does suit you. Eventually you'll look back at old pics of you with hair and you'll wonder who that guy was! You get use to the Sly look quick.

It takes a while. I can remember standing in line at a cash register in the mall one time and catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror and not realizing at first that I was looking at my own reflection.
Welcome to the group. The bald dome looks good on you.
